The Planetarium experience can not be reproduced in the classroom. High-quality sky simulations, coupled with a rich audio-visual environment, provide a memorable experience for both students and teachers. Topics in astronomy and space exploration take on a special dimension in our Star Theatre.

Our school shows, developed by the planetarium staff, are designed to meet the educational guidelines for natural science and ecology, established by the Québec Department of Education.

Our lecturers are either professional or amateur astronomers, with many years of experience in creating and presenting educational shows for young people.

The Planetarium also offers a variety of educational tools that can be used in your most familiar environment: your own school!

Palme verte

The Montréal Nature Museums Foundation
rewards schools that are taking action to help the environment!

The Foundation invites all staff working in Québec schools
at the preschool, primary and secondary levels to change their world
by doing an environmental project in the school.
Lots of prizes to be won!

Deadline for entries: April 15, 2010. For full details, see: fondationmuseums.qc.ca/palmeverte_en
